Engine Dynamometers

SuperFlow manufactures water brake, eddy current and AC engine dynamometers for performance and industrial applications. SuperFlow engine dynos test gasoline, diesel and CNG engines and several of our water brake dynos are used for AC motor testing. We frequently provide custom engineered solutions for unique test requirements. Our engineering team will understand the application, select the appropriate power absorption unit, design all test cell support systems and configure our WinDyn data acquisition and control system to manage the dyno, the engine and the test environment. Flowbenches

The product that started it all for SuperFlow, a simple device to measure and quantify the amount of air-flow through cylinder head runners and intake manifolds. In the 1970s the goal was to win Formula V races, a hobby of SuperFlow’s founder. Today, SuperFlow produces a series of air flow test benches used for things like increasing engine performance and fuel economy, developing catalytic converters and certifying their flow rates at the end of a production line as well as a variety of other air flow test applications across multiple industries.

Valve Body Test Stands

SuperFlow's line of valve body test stands offer transmission remanufacturers unmatched features like the WinDyn CAN Control mechatronic test option and fully automated testing to eliminate operator induced errors. The Axiline VBT-8000 accomodates more transmission applications than the next closest competitors combined and cover the range of light, medium, heavy and extreme duty transmissions like the X-1100. Plus, in the rare event you have an application that we don't, we'll develop it at your request. Transmission Shift Consoles

Our ability to control and shift transmissions on a dynamometer has kept our Axiline and Hicklin product lines at the forefront of the transmission remanufacturing industry since the 1970s. We’ve packaged this technology in standalone controllers not limited to dynamometer testing meaning technicians can diagnose transmissions before they are ever removed from customer vehicles. Our SuperShifter platform of electronic transmission controls are handheld diagnostic devices to test shift function and solenoid performance even with the transmission mounted in the vehicle. SuperShifter controllers can also control and test transmissions on a dyno or in unique cases be used to prevent automatic transmission vehicles from shifting during chassis dyno testing. Hicklin heavy duty shift consoles are designed for service centers who need the ability to control and test HD transmissions, flash transmission control modules, code CIN numbers and perform diagnostics on the TCM under test. Hicklin heavy duty transmission shift consoles include applications for Allison, Voith and ZF transmissions.

Torque Converter Rebuilding Systems

Torque Converter Rebuilding Systems (TCRS®) from SuperFlow® are the choice of converter rebuilders worldwide for one reason, quality. The TCRS® system has been proven on more than 8-million torque converters and is in use at the big three automakers Ford®, General Motors® and Daimler Chrysler®. TCRS® sets the industry standard for precision alignment and is the only system available with all the tools to do the job right, with repeatability and precision within .001 of an inch. TCRS® representatives will not only help you select the correct equipment for your rebuilding goals, but also consult on the floor plan and staffing needs to make money rebuilding your own converters. Every situation is different, but as a general rule, if you’re purchasing six or more converters a day from an outside source an in-house converter rebuilding program from TCRS® will save you money. TCRS® will provide a complete “turn key” system including support equipment such as work benches and parts carts to satisfy the demands of the highest volume rebuilders.
